On 14 April, the 2zell (Laurence De Rancourt and Laurence Grand-Clement) will start the crossing of the Indian Ocean (3.100 miles) from Geraldton (Autralia) to Mauritius. Only one rule: cross rowing without assistance.

They will live and row in the middle of the ocean for more than 80 days on a boat that is less than 7m50. This adventure represents 3 kind of challenge : a physical challenge, a technical challenge and a mental challenge.

As a partner, Mercator Ocean will provide weekly the surface currents on the crossing area. These data, in addition to weather forecasts, will help them choose the right trajectories.
