Copernicus information and training session

A “Copernicus information and training session” is organized on 23 and 24 November 2017 in Paris – La Défense (on the roof of the Grande Arche) by the Ministry of the Ecological and United Transition and the Copernicus Support Office, driven by the European Commission.

It will provide information and training regarding:
– the European
Copernicus Earth Observation Program
– and how to access to its “free” data and products.
It will then develop these elements of information and training more specifically on two of the six services implemented by the Copernicus program:
– the Copernicus Land Monitoring Service (CLMS),
– the Copernicus Marine Environmental Monitoring Service (CMEMS) and its use for the Marine Strategy Framework Directive (MSFD).

It will be completed on the second day afternoon by a workshop on coastal applications with the support of Mercator-Ocean, entrusted by the European Commission to implement the Copernicus Marine Environment Monitoring Service.
