MERCATOR OCEAN SUPPORT
Mercator Ocean brings its modelling expertise to the ammonium concentration, pH, salinity of sea water and sea surface temperatures.
Data obtained are long-term monthly values for the four components from 1993-2016 that are used for reanalysis purposes to better understand the physical and biogeochemical processes that affect the sea-air interaction of ammonia.
The supported studies are led by Roy Wichink Kruit (RIVM) in cooperation with David Simpson (EMEP).
